1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to RentnRide ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

RentnRide is a platform that connects customers with vehicles available for rental. We facilitate bookings, process payments, and provide customer support. Vehicle owners set their own prices and availability.

3. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old (minimum driving age in Bangladesh)
• Hold a valid driver's license
• Have a valid email address and phone number
• Provide accurate and complete personal information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be legally authorized to enter into binding agreements

4. Account Registration

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Upload a valid driver's license (both sides) for each booking
• Upload a valid National ID Card (both sides) for each booking
• Upload a current facial photo for identity verification
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. Booking and Payment

5.1 Booking Process

• Bookings must be made through our platform
• Availability is not guaranteed until payment is confirmed
• We reserve the right to cancel bookings at our discretion
• Bookings are confirmed upon payment receipt

5.2 Payment Terms

• Full payment is required at booking confirmation
• Payment methods: Credit/Debit cards, Mobile banking (bKash, Nagad), Bank transfers
• Payment is processed securely through SSLCOMMERZ
• All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT)
• Prices include applicable taxes

5.3 Pricing

• Vehicle owners set rental prices
• Pricing tiers: Hourly, Half-day, Full-day
• Prices may vary based on vehicle type, season, and duration
• Final price is calculated at checkout
• We reserve the right to change prices with notice

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.1 Customer Cancellation

• More than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
• Less than 24 hours before pickup: 50% refund
• No-show: No refund
• Refunds processed within 7-14 business days

6.2 Our Cancellation Rights

We may cancel your booking due to: vehicle unavailability, technical issues, suspected fraud, violation of terms, or safety concerns. In such cases, you will receive a full refund.

7. Vehicle Usage

You agree to:

• Return the vehicle in the same condition as received
• Return with the same fuel level (or pay for refueling)
• Report any damages immediately
• Not use the vehicle for illegal purposes
• Not smoke or transport pets without permission
• Not exceed the number of passengers specified for the vehicle
• Abide by all traffic laws and regulations
• Not sublet or transfer the vehicle to others

8. Damage and Liability

8.1 Damage Policy

• You are responsible for damages beyond normal wear and tear
• Report damages immediately upon return
• Estimated repair costs will be communicated within 72 hours
• Damage charges may be deducted from your payment method
• We may require additional deposit if substantial damage is suspected

8.2 Insurance

Vehicles are insured by their owners. You are responsible for your deductible if you are involved in an accident. We are not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss arising from vehicle use.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use vehicles for racing, towing, or heavy-duty purposes
• Drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Violate traffic laws or regulations
• Modify, tamper with, or damage vehicles
• Remove tracking devices or safety equipment
• Use vehicles for commercial purposes without authorization
• Leave keys or ignition running unattended
• Transport illegal goods or substances

10. Intellectual Property

The RentnRide website, including its design, content, logos, and software, is owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks or logos without authorization
• Reverse engineer or attempt to access our source code
• Create derivative works based on our platform

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We provide services "as is" without warranties
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the rental
• We are not responsible for vehicle breakdowns or mechanical issues
• You assume all risks associated with vehicle usage

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RentnRide, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through:

• Negotiation: Contact us within 30 days to attempt resolution
• Mediation: If negotiation fails, we may engage in mediation
• Arbitration: Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Bangladesh
• Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by laws of Bangladesh

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if:

• You violate these Terms or applicable laws
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• You provide false or misleading information
• You fail to pay amounts owed to us
• You harass, abuse, or threaten our staff or other users
• For any other reason at our discretion

Upon termination, your right to use our services immediately ceases. Outstanding fees remain due.

15. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting updated Terms on this page
• Sending email notifications (for significant changes)
• Displaying a notice on our website

Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with the changes, please stop using our services and close your account.

These Terms are provided in English. In case of discrepancy between English and Bengali translations, the English version prevails.
